On friday 11-11-11 at 11:11:11 the carnaval season is going to be opened. This day is one of the biggest cultural events in the south of the Netherlands.

Of course there needs to be a A-Eskwadraat delegation present!

This is a chance to meet and see a totally different part of Dutch culture.

The day starts at 11:11 am so we'll take the 8:08 train from Utrecht central to Maastricht (platform 15). The day ends at 8:00 pm and we will be back in utrecht at around 11:00 pm.
