Utrecht Programming Contest (UKP)
Utrecht Programming Contest (UKP)

The UKP is a programming contest, which means you will receive a number of assignments which you are to complete by writing a computer program. The UKP is a preliminary of the BAPC (Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest), which precedes the NWERC (North-West European Regional Contest), which is part of the ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest).

Participation is free of charge, and not restricted to members of A-Eskwadraat. Teams may consist of one to three members. You are allowed to use the programming languages C#, C, C++ and Java.

The competition will take place in the Buys Ballot building (a classroom number will be added later). The programme is as follows:

11:00 - welcome talk and trying out DOMJudge
12:00 - start of the competition
17:00 - end of the competition

Lunch will be provided. There will be prizes, and the top two teams will proceed to the BAPC.
