Every year the Department of Physics organizes a day where students and staff get to meet the different aspects of the study. The day starts with lectures from the different branches of physics, starting with a lecture by Hans Oerlemans. This is followed by a poster session where different research groups present their projects. The day ends with a free barbecue for all physics students.
